Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009[2]) was an American recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. Referred to as the “King of Pop” in subsequent years, five of his solo studio albums are among the world’s best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).
In the early 1980s, he became a dominant figure in popular music and the first African-American entertainer to amass a strong crossover following on MTV. The popularity of his music videos airing on MTV, such as “Beat It”, “Billie Jean” and Thriller—credited for transforming the music video into an art form and a promotional tool—helped bring the relatively new channel to fame. Videos such as “Black or White” and “Scream” made Jackson an enduring staple on MTV in the 1990s. With stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style influenced many hip hop, pop and contemporary R&B artists.
One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records—including one for “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time”—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career—more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era—and the sales of over 750 million albums worldwide. Cited as one of the world’s most famous men, Jackson’s highly publicized personal life, coupled with his successful career, made him a part of popular culture for almost four decades.
On the morning of June 25, 2009, Jackson reportedly collapsed at a rented home in Holmby Hills in Los Angeles. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a 911 call at 12:21 pm local (Pacific) time[185] and arrived at 12:30 pm. Jackson was reportedly not breathing and CPR was quickly performed.[186] He fell into a coma and died shortly after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center.[187] The cause of death is reported to be cardiac arrest.[186] Jackson was pronounced dead at about 2:26 pm local time.[188] Los Angeles Police Department homicide and robbery division detectives attended the scene as a matter of routine in high profile death cases.[189] An autopsy is said to be scheduled for Friday, June 26, 2009
Inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1984, Jackson has had a notable impact on music and culture throughout the world. He broke down racial barriers, transformed the art of the music video and paved the way for modern pop music in his own country. Jackson’s work, distinctive musical sound and vocal style have influenced hip hop, pop and R&B artists, including Mariah Carey,[12] Usher,[190] Britney Spears,[12] Justin Timberlake[109] and R. Kelly.[155] For much of his career, he had an “unparalleled” level of worldwide influence over the younger generation through his musical and humanitarian contributions.[191]
Throughout his career he received numerous honors and awards, including the World Music Awards’ Best-Selling Pop Male Artist of the Millennium, the American Music Award’s Artist of the Century Award and the Bambi Pop Artist of the Millennium Award.[27][192] He was a double-inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, once as a member of The Jackson 5 in 1997 and later as a solo artist in 2001. Jackson was also an inductee of the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2002.[27] His awards include multiple Guinness World Records (eight in 2006 alone), 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career—more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era—and the sale of over 750 million albums worldwide, making him the world’s best selling male pop artist.[24][64][72][193][194][195]

การทำพิซซ่า
พิซซา (Pizza) เป็นอาหารอิตาเลี่ยน คำว่า “พิซซา” ตรงกับภาษาอังกฤษว่า “พาย” นิยมกันมาก ในสหรัฐอเมริกา และเป็นที่รู้จัก ของ คนไทย เมื่อไม่นาน มานี้ พิซซาประกอบด้วย 3 ส่วน คือ แผ่นแป้ง ซอส และเครื่องแต่งหน้า แผ่นแป้งมีหลายตำรับอาจใช้ผงฟู หรือยีสต์ แผ่นแป้งที่ขึ้นฟูด้วย ผงฟู จะกรอบ แบบแคร็กเกอร์ (Cracker) ส่วนยีสต์จะทำให้แผ่นแป้งเหนียว และนุ่ม พิซซาซอสทำจาก มะเขือเทศสด ปรุงรสตามชอบ และใส่เครื่องเทศ ให้มีกลิ่นเฉพาะ บางตำรับใส่ใบโหระพา กานพลู ใบ กระวาน และอื่น ๆ แต่ส่วนใหญ่ นิยมใส่ผง อริกาโน บางคนใช้ซอสมะเขือเทศที่ขายตาม ท้องตลาดแทนพิซซาซอสนี้เลย เครื่องแต่งหน้าที่นิยมคือ แฮม ไส้กรอก หรือ เนื้อสัตว์ ประเภทต่าง ๆ ตามชอบ ส่วนผักมักใช้ พริกหวาน หอมใหญ่ มะกอกฝรั่ง และเห็ด สิ่งที่ขาดไม่ได้คือ เนยแข็ง (mozzarelle cheese) สำหรับโรยหน้า

เครื่องปรุงแผ่นแป้งพิซซ่า
แป้งสาลีอเนกประสงค์ (ร่อนแล้ว) 250 กรัม
ยีสต์ 1 ช้อนโต๊ะ
น้ำตาลทรายขาว 1 ช้อนโต๊ะ
เกลือป่นละเอียด 3/4 ช้อนชา
น้ำเปล่า 130 กรัม
เนยสด 45 กรัม
วิธีทำแผ่นแป้งพิซซ่า
1. ผสมแป้ง และยีสต์ คนให้เข้ากัน ในอ่างผสม
2. ใส่น้ำตาลทรายและเกลือ คนให้เข้ากันอีกครั้ง
3. เทน้ำและน้ำมันพืชลงในส่วนผสมของแป้ง ใช้มือผสมให้ทั่วและเข้ากันดี
4. นวดแป้งให้จับตัวเป็นก้อน ใช้เวลาประมาณ 15-20 นาที จนแป้งเนียนและนุ่มดี
5. ตะล่อมแป้งเป็นก้อนกลม วางในชามอ่างผสมที่ทาด้วยน้ำมันบาง ๆ ทิ้งไว้ประมาณ 30 นาที แป้งจะขึ้นเป็น 2 เท่า
6. นวดแป้งเล็กน้อยเพื่อไล่ฟองอากาศ ตะล่อมเป็นก้อนกลมอีกครั้งหนึ่งทิ้งไว้อีก 10 นาที ในอ่างผสมเดิม
7. นวดแป้งไล่ฟองอากาศ และคลึงออกเป็นแผ่นกลม หนา 1/8 นิ้ว แล้วกรุลงถาดที่ทาน้ำมันไว้ (ถาดขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง
14 นิ้ว) จิ้มแผ่นแป้งด้วยส้อมให้เป็นรูทั่ว ๆ เพื่อไล่อากาศขณะอบ
8. ทาน้ำมันบาง ๆ บนแผ่นแป้งให้ทั่ว ราดด้วย พิซซาซอสที่เตรียมไว้ เกลี่ยให้ทั่ว เว้นขอบแป้งไว้เล็กน้อย
9. แต่งหน้าด้วย แฮม ไส้กรอก พริกหวาน หอมใหญ่ และโรยหน้าด้วย เนยแข็งโมซซ่าเรลล่า (mozzarella cheese)
ขูดอบที่อุณหภูมิ 425 องศาฟาเรนไฮด์ เป็นเวลา 15-20 นาที
เครื่องปรุงพิซซ่าซอส
(1 ส่วนใช้กับแผ่นแป้ง 2 แผ่น)
น้ำมันพืช 1 ช้อนโต๊ะ
หอมใหญ่สับละเอียด 1/2 ถ้วยตวง
มะเขือเทศเข้มข้นชนิดกระป๋อง 1 ถ้วยตวง
น้ำตาลทราย 2 1/2 ช้อนโต๊ะ
เกลือป่น 2 ช้อนชา
พริกไทย 3/4 ช้อนชา
ออริกาโน (Oregano) 2 ช้อนชา
วิธีทำพิซซ่าซอส
ตั้งกะทะใส่น้ำมันใช้ไฟอ่อน พอร้อนจึงใส่หอมใหญ่ผัดจนชิ้นหอมสุกใส และมีกลิ่นหอมดี จึงใส่มะเขือเทศเข้มข้น และเครื่องปรุงทั้งหมด ระวังไหม้ ควรหรี่ไฟลงผัดจนหอมและเข้ากันดี
